One of the essentials for most people is to know TRUTH....the opposite is however being propogated weekly from numerous 'pulpits' or 'altars' in places professing to be churches.

Col 3:9-11
9 Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds, 10 and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him     NKJV

In the traditional Jewish synagogues there was no elevated pulpit from which sermons were delivered by 'annointed ministers'. All teaching was based on the SCRIPTURES and was done BY DISCUSSION and frequently interjected by questions from the listeners. False teaching was immediately challenged publicly.

The proof that doctrinal positions and interpretations as preached almost worldwide in 'churches' ...specifically in regard to finances.... cannot be justified by the New Testament scriptures is found in the actions of most church leadership and is patently visible to the world. Asking questions is NOT encouraged... if it is ever allowed.

Try to have a discussion with the pastor or elders of your church about the deceptions surrounding 'tithing', 'sowing seed', sacrificial giving, financial priorites, etc. In most assemblies you will be silenced and ejected as this issue is known to be THE great risk to the financial viablity of their 'organisations'

It is not possible that preaching truth can destroy a church unless it has been based on a LIE ...in which case there will be a day of reckoning far worse ahead.

1 Cor 3:9-15

9 For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, you are God's building. 10 According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it. 11 For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13 each one's work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one's work, of what sort it is. 14 If anyone's work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. 15 If anyone's work is burned , he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.    NKJV
 

Rev 21:8
ALL LIARS have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.   NKJV

Some find themselves very uncomfortable with referring to people who teach false doctrines to raise money as liars ...but this is what Jesus commended the church at Ephesus for.

We are required to TEST everyone who brings a 'new' or different teaching from what the apostles taught in the scriptures.

Paul warns us also

1 Cor 6:8-11
8 No, you yourselves do wrong and cheat, and you do these things to your brethren! 9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.    NKJV

Paul warns the elders ...and the early church clearly  

Acts 20:28-31

28 Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.

Brethren the church is GOD's...not yours...a shepherd's role is to care for and provide for the sheep ... he does not exploit them

29 For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you (ie ELDERS vs 17), not sparing the flock.

Look at the church worldwide and you will see financially oppressed and decieved people...exploited at every turn imaginable ... for MONEY

30 Also from among yourselves (ie ELDERS vs 17) men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves. 31 Therefore watch, and remember that for three years I did not cease to warn everyone night and day with tears.  NKJV

PERVERSE things are being propogated by those amongst the ELDERS (church leadership vs17) who seek to control 'their church' members ...and covet the wealth of the flock instead of their hearts for God

Is it acceptable to lie to get the money you 'need' (or want) to be able to do what you think God wants?

Doesn't lying continually make you a LIAR?

What proves that it is a lie is that thousands of people all around the world who ask questions about the supposed requirement to 'tithe' today are being fobbed off or evicted from fellowships. Detailed questions are repeatedly stone walled. A key test is that Truth stands up to scrutiny.

"Where God directs and leads, HE provides".... If you are having difficulties raising finances for your plans when you teach FREEWILL GIVING which is the clear teaching of the scriptures then you need to accept that God is NOT directing you to do this activity

1 Cor 13:4-8

4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.  

8 Love never fails.     NKJV
 

Brethren if we believe we can lie to one another and be believers we are sadly deceived ...we do not lie to those we love....and we certainly do not love those we lie to!

1 John 4:7-11

Beloved, let us love one another , for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. 9 In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. 10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.  NKJV
 

Now tell me again why believers should fellowship in churches where these same financial heresies continue to be preached almost every week from pulpits and where men 'lord it over' their brethren in DECEPTION and give themselves titles rather than SERVING and giving as JESUS COMMANDED

.....and please tell me how supposed 'men of God' can continue in sin when the truth is pointed out to them!
